I’ve been trying on different jackets and finally decided to try this as I see it advertised so much. I thought it would be flimsy or crinkly or feel weird to the touch, but I was pleasntly surprised when it arrived. It just feels like thick nylon and has a nice, removable inner fleece lining. The hood lies flat and is detachable, the color is a neutral red and the length is long enough to cover my rear. I’m tall with long arms, so I was surprised when the arms on this jacket came down to the bone and had an elastic cuff inside. It will be easy to wear gloves with this if needed. I like the features and the pockets are placed well. It was pretty wrinkled when it arrived, so I hung it up and will probably put it in the drier briefly to shake them out. For the price, I think it’s a keeper.

This is a nice all season jacket/coat.The material is nice and overall the fit is good. Giving 4 stars out of 5 because the fit in the sleeves is a bit too long.

I tossed about 6 worn out 20 year old jackets and bought this. I live in the rainy PCNW and its warm , comfortable and covers the butt— a very hard to find jacket.I had an expensive jacket like this from lands end—- this jacket does not have the nice inner jacket. it had a liner that can be removed, but not worn separately.I had to order three to get the correct size.love the grey color.I am very happy with this jacket. great for going on a walk or birdwatching.

I love the look and feel of this jacket. Keeps me warm in cold temps.I like the removable lining which makes the jacket more versatile.

I love it! I thought I accidentally got the wrong size but was relieved when I put it on and it fits perfectly! I love the length of the sleaves and the whole coat. I haven’t a good fitting coat in well over 20 years so am very happy to have found one. It’s not too heavy or bulky and I even have room if I want to layer.

The 3x is my normal size but it was slightly big. I tried the 2x but it was slightly small, so I stuck with the 3x so I knew I’d have plenty of room with a heavy sweater. I love that I can remove the lining on days were I don’t need it. I love that it has a zipper AND snaps – which gives me both options. The chest level pockets are convenient but not terribly deep. It’s WATERPROOF! I got stuck in a heavy rain and water just beaded up on it!! Now I can’t speak to how well it would do after a lengthy time in the rain, but it kept me dry for the times I was in the rain. Yes, the hood is huge. I find most are – so I just sort of cuffed it back on top and it worked fine (and detachable too-yeah!) I ordered the ‘Bark’ color and it was a nice medium khaki color – which works great with any color I have on underneath. Love this coat and I think it will give me a lot of use, especially with the flexibility of the removable lining. It’s really quiet cozy with the lining in!!

Love this jacket. It is warm and will keep you dry. Very good quality. It has a zip in liner that keeps you warm. It runs a little big. You might want to size down.

I like the versatility, cherry red color and several features of this jacket. It checked the boxes of what I wanted for travel: something with pockets to protect me from rain which can be transitioned from a light to a medium weight cover-up. The lining zips easily in and out. Lining sleeves are slippery on both sides with very slight padding in between, so it’s easy to slide your arms in even when wearing a sweater. Not bulky but warm; fasten at cuffs with one button and loop. Lining of main coat is a thin fleece. There are outer pockets at chest level, each with one snap. Not very useful as the vertical opening doesn’t keep objects in securely; a small cell phone would stay in if snap is fastened. The snaps are about nipple position, and I don’t love that look. Pockets on both sides below waist are generous size. Easy position to slide your hands in, but also not the most secure for keeping valuables in securely, as they are a diagonal opening. I wish those pockets had a zipper, Velcro or snap closure. There are tie strings located the hood collar, waist and bottom hem. All of the fabric strings were much longer than I needed, so I repositioned the toggles, cones and knots, and snipped off the extra length. I may entirely remove the string at the hem. So far have only worn coat in a light rain, and it was water repellent .

I love this coat! I bought it big so I can wear sweaters sweatshirts, etc. underneath. I like the idea of having the inside with a zipper so you can take it out. It is nice and warm and great in the rain and I like the big pockets as they can hold a lot of things.

Like the description says, it’s water resistant. So if it’s drizzling, you can make from your car to the building you’re going to. But if you have to walk any sort of distance and it’s actually raining, you’ll get soaked.I had to walk about 20-30 minutes to get somewhere in the rain. It wasn’t even raining that hard, barely more than a drizzle. My shirt underneath got soaked, everything in my pockets got wet. It’s not for actual rain.
